Building Safety & Construction
The Bureau of Building Safety & Construction within the Division of Fire Safety (NH State Fire Marshal’s Office) is responsible for statewide programs related to fire codes and standards. They are critical for fire prevention and minimizing the risk of fire in places like public buildings, school campuses, and healthcare facilities.
The Bureau provides building code enforcement for all state owned property, periodic fire and life safety inspections for all state owned property and technical code assistance to local fire departments.
