Weare Fatal Fire Update

WEARE, New Hampshire – New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Sean P. Toomey, Weare Fire Chief Mark A. Roarick and Weare Police Chief Christopher D. Moore announce that the victim located at the fire scene at 77 Sewell Hoyt Rd. in Weare on June 4, 2024, did not die from fire related causes.    

The identity of the victim is pending.  The investigation into the origin & cause of the fire is active and ongoing by members of the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Weare Fire and Police Departments.  Please direct all future inquiries to Chief Moore of the Weare Police Department.
