Jefferson, New Hampshire – The New Hampshire Department of Safety, Division of Fire Safety is investigating the circumstances that led to an employee being injured on an amusement ride at Santa’s Village theme park in Jefferson.

On Saturday, August 27, 2022, the Office of the State Fire Marshal was contacted by the park regarding the incident and employee’s injuries. The initial investigation has indicated the victim, a 51-year-old man, suddenly fell off a platform while a roller coaster ride was in motion. The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
