Passenger Tramway Safety Board
The Passenger Tramway Safety Board was established in 1957 and is responsible for registering and inspecting passenger tramways and investigating accidents and complaints.
The Board also reviews and approves all applications for construction of new lifts and/or modification of existing lifts.
Members of the board are appointed by the Governor.
