Victim Identified in Fatal Rollinsford Fire

ROLLINSFORD, New Hampshire – New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Sean P. Toomey, Rollinsford Fire Chief Mark Rutherford and Rollinsford Police Chief Jonathan Uraskevich announce that the victim of the motor-vehicle crash and fire that occurred on April 27, 2023, has been identified.  

The NH Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 29-year-old Timothy Norton of Somersworth.  The cause of his death was determined to be thermal inhalation injuries and the manner of his death was accidental.    

The investigation into the origin & cause of the fire has determined that the crash caused significant damage to the vehicle’s engine compartment, which caused the fire to occur.  The fire is classified as accidental.
