Electric Vehicle, E-Mobility & Lithium-Ion Battery Study Council
The purpose of the Council is to study the impacts of electric vehicles, e-mobility devices, and the associated lithium-ion batteries on first responder response, the environment, building and fire codes, life safety, and property protection.
What We Do
The council shall study:
- The occurrence of electric vehicle, e-mobility device and the associated lithium-ion battery fire department incident responses in New Hampshire;
- The impacts to public safety response and personal protective equipment;
- The impacts to the built environment;
- The impacts to the environment to include air, water and ground pollution;
- The impacts to the state transportation system;
- Cost and administration of first responder training;
- The impacts to the state building and fire codes
