Exposure Information/Board
NH is tracking the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on our first responders by logging all first responder quarantine and associated test results into the first responder board in NH WEBEOC.
We have provided the exposure algorithms for guidance to first responders in case of unprotected exposure. There are currently three algorithms in use that provide guidance to departments, including exposure scenarios and the appropriate response. Potential scenarios include low-risk exposure, protected exposure, prolonged close contact, and symptomatic vs. asymptomatic presentation.
The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the practice of social distancing should be utilized whenever possible to eliminate exposure.
