Active Teams
Both Anthem and Reeves became certified when they were partnered with their handlers during a four-week class in Concord, New Hampshire, which was sponsored by State Farm. Both dogs are Labarador Retrievers, which are uniquely qualified for the role. Along with an extraordinary ability to discriminate scents at a fire scene, they also carry a gentle disposition, joy for the work, and an outgoing personality.
K-9 Reeves & Investigator
Sol Rosman
Our eighth handler is Investigator Solomon Rosman. He is the handler for our fourth yellow lab, Reeves, in 2019. They work out of District 1, covering Coos, Grafton, and Carroll counties, but are available statewide as needed.

K-9 Anthem & Deputy Fire Marshal
Adam Fanjoy
Our seventh canine handler is Investigator Adam Fanjoy. He began working as a handler for our third yellow lab, Anthem, in 2018. He has since been promoted to Deputy State Fire Marshal and continues his work with Anthem in this role. Prior to joining the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office, Adam worked as a police officer in the City of Concord for 14 years.
